CUKON s.r.o. is a Slovak company established in 2016, which mainly provides services in structural engineering. In CUKON we have been using Revit software from Autodesk since 2017. Revit is an excellent program for our work, however, we needed new features to make our work more effective, especially to automate activities within the program. This was the reason why we started creating our own functions in Revit. We would like to share the most used ones with you through our plugin CUKON add-in.
The TagALL button will tag all structural rebars in the active view. In settings, you can select which rebar tag you want to use for multi-rebar annotation or single-rebar annotation. Also, when you set the rebar in the view to halftone, the TagAll function will ignore it (Right-click on rebar → Override Graphic in View → By Element → Halftone).

The TagChecker button will control all structural rebars in active view if they have rebar tags. All tagged rebars will be temporarily hidden in the active view. Also, when you set the rebar in the view to halftone, the TagChecker function will ignore it (Right-click on rebar → Override Graphic in View → By Element → Halftone).

The Visibility button will make the rebars visible through elements, it will set all structural rebars in active view to the unobscured view (Click on rebar → Properties / Graphics / View Visibility States (Edit) → View Unobscured → Check).

The ShowMiddle button will display only the middle rebar in all rebar sets in the active view (Floor Plans, Sections). When there are only two rebars in the set it will not affect it (both rebars will be shown).

The Sections to Sheet button will place sections or plan views to the selected sheet by name (or part of the name).

In Settings, you can set up multi-rebar annotation, and single-rebar annotation for Tag All button. You can also check license expiration, login and ID number (for license extension).

Opening elevation this hidden tool will automatically create and update shared parameters (Head project elevation, Head shared elevation, Sill project elevation, Sill shared elevation) for openings (Windows, Doors). Project elevation specifies the height in relation to the Survey Point. Shared elevation specifies the height in relation to the Project Base Point.

The Time Tracker easily tracking the time spent on each of your projects in a created txt file. Turn it on once when you start working on a project and it will automatically start always when you open the project again. This tool is essential for you to keep track of your work. After pressing the START button in the application, Time Tracker creates a txt file in which the individual days and times spent on your project are recorded. It adds up to the total work time in the last line at the bottom. There is an option to set the length of an inactive time – the time of being inactive in your project after which the recording of your work will stop automatically and it will turn on again as soon as you start working in the Revit file (e.g. if you run for lunch). Time recording can be also stopped at any time by pressing the STOP button. You can easily find and edit or delete a TXT file.
